Salemi Media Studio ("we", "our", or "the Application") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal and operational data with the highest standards of transparency, confidentiality, and security. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, store, and safeguard data when you use Salemi Media Studio or connect your social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

1. Information We Access and Collect

Salemi Media Studio operates strictly on a principle of data minimization. We only access and store data explicitly required to perform authorized social media scheduling and content publishing:

• Account Identifiers: Public user ID, username/handle (e.g. @malenia.diary), profile picture URL, and account type to display connected profiles in the management dashboard.
• OAuth 2.0 Authorization Tokens: Encrypted access and refresh tokens granted via official platform authorization dialogues (e.g., TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API). We never request, access, or store your passwords.
• Media Content & Metadata: Video files, images, captions, scheduled timestamps, hashtags, and disclosure settings (e.g., AI-generated media flags, duet/stitch permissions) that you upload for scheduling.
• Publishing Logs: Technical delivery status logs, API response codes, and error telemetry to ensure reliable scheduled execution.

2. How We Use Platform APIs & TikTok Data

Salemi Media Studio integrates with official third-party APIs in accordance with developer terms:

• TikTok Integration: We utilize the official TikTok Content Posting API (v2) solely to upload videos/carousels to your account or inbox drafts, apply required AI disclosures, and configure user interaction settings. We do not access private messages, personal financial details, or unrelated browsing history.
• Meta Graph API (Instagram): Used exclusively to publish authorized reels, photos, and carousels, and attach authorized catalog audio.
• YouTube Data API: Used to schedule and publish Shorts and video content.

3. Data Storage & Encryption

All data in transit is protected using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption. OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are stored in private, isolated databases behind firewall protection. Media assets are hosted on private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and deleted upon workflow completion or user request.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share user data or media with any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Data is transmitted strictly to the respective social media APIs requested by the user for the explicit purpose of publishing content.

5. Data Retention & User Deletion Rights

You maintain complete control over your data at all times:

• Token Revocation: You can disconnect your TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube accounts at any time through the Salemi Media Studio dashboard, which immediately invalidates and deletes all stored OAuth tokens.
• Data Deletion Request: To request immediate, complete deletion of all associated account records, logs, and media assets, email us at salemiclaude27@gmail.com. Requests are fulfilled within 24 hours.

6. AI-Generated Content & Community Compliance

Salemi Media Studio provides full support for automated synthetic media tagging. When scheduling AI-generated or modified content, the Application automatically sets the appropriate disclosure metadata in compliance with TikTok's Synthetic Media and Community Guidelines.
